Ricky Rat (Detroit (USA)) Acoustic Rock

Detroit singer-songwriter Ricky Rat first made a name for himself in the mid-1980s as guitarist of the Motor City’s legendary lords of glam-punk, the Trash Brats. Then starting in 1992, Ricky also played guitar with iconic Detroit rock ’n’ rollers Bootsey X and the Lovemasters for nearly 20 years. After putting out his first sdevoted new audience on social media, where he performed virtual home concerts 160 days in a row. Over the years, Ricky has also toured and recorded with NYC/French punk rockers Kevin K and the Kool Kats, as well as Texas Terri and Nikki Corvette. These days, when he’s not fronting the Ricky Rat Pack, Ricky plays guitar alongside Romantics founder Mike Skill in the Mike Skill Group.olo record of blitzkrieg pop in 2012, Songs in C Major Love, Ricky followed up with 2016’s blistering Joyful Rage. Then from 2017-2019 he joined resurrected punk-rock pioneers the Dead Boys. In 2020, during the height of COVID, Ricky wrote and recorded his latest album, 2022’s haunting, heartfelt Ghosts of isolation.
